Spring - Early JuneAt this point in spring, the perennial garden is starting to really put on a show. In 2005, the spring has been cool and wet, so some plants are a little behind in their development. The annuals have all been planted, but haven't filled out yet. The roses have buds, but the blooms have not opened yet. So, the stage is set for the garden's finest time, from mid-June through mid-July.As always, though, the perennial garden is full of color and sweet scents. Among the plants pictured are lupines, day lillies, yarrow, and Siberian iris.
