Spring - Early May

In early May, spring starts to get rolling. The flowering trees are the stars of the show. Dogwoods and redbuds are common native trees in the area. The Vanderbilt estate has many beautiful ones. The main attraction in the garden are the Cherry trees, which bloom during the last week of April and first week of May.
